Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 for ClubmanS?

Hi all,

I have a 2013 ClubmanS (Bond Street) and have the Contiprocontact SSR tires original to the car. I have very low miles, less than 7K but want to replace these with non-runflats for better ride and also better winter traction. The SSR's have most of their tread but loose grip very easily in any wet conditions, so I don't have confidence in running these with any winter mix at all.

Does anyone have experience with these W rated HTR Sumitomo's? I was going to go with 215/45/17 size as well, just a bit more tread than the standard 205's. These have to better in the bad weather than the SSR's, right?

Yes, I am bottom feeding with these and know that dedicated snows would be better, but I can't afford over double the price right now for performance winter tires.

Thanks

I just put a set on my r53 a few weeks ago, I find them to be much better than the ssr tires I had before. Tire simple.com is where I bought them, less than $300 to my doorstep work great in wet weather, fair in the snow.

Thanks and sounds good to me. The SSR's have to go.
