It's always seemed to me that parting out a car is a lot of effort.

That depends on what you want to do, parting out the car is more work but it is possible you can get $4000 or more out of it.

I'm glad to hear that you're going to try to fix your Clubman. The other problem with parting out a car is that it's an irreversible process...plus there is not a high demand for MINI parts in Milwaukee (I live in the Metro area) and you'd have to ship the parts out...a big hassle.

I don't have a good answer to your question; therefore, I'm going to pass. Perhaps the best thing you can do is start a new post titled: N14 Cylinder Failure --> Need Help!

I'm still trying to figure out the 2007 Clubman S...weren't the Clubmans built in 2007 called 2008? I didn't realize any of them carried the 2007 Model year on their title....
