Driving Lights

Does anyone or has anyone done driving lights built into their grille such as a mustang?
Example:

Or, I am thinking about placing driving lights where the air flow into the wheel wells for the brakes. Removing the grille since I have the upgarde intercooler for looks.

I'm trying to inset a pair in the lower grille area. I have them temporarily mounted while I figure out what to fab up.

Bit close together for my tastes. Also, I'm not sure how well those lights will work so low down. They have very little spread so getting the right angle could be challenging.

I was kind of going for the "Eleanor" look. Functionality is of second concern for me, I don't drive too much at night.

I like the look of those. That being said I don't think blocking off the airflow to the intercooler is a very good idea.

I had to look up the "Eleanor look", but having done that it looks like you'll have what you want!

I had that concern but since I'm running meth it's not much of a factor and after some data logging today I saw no discernible difference.

Today I remounted the lights so that they are more inset. Previously they stuck out way too much now they are pretty as far in as possible without rubbing the intercooler. I'm much happier with the install. Now to 3D print a surround to give it a finished factory look.

That looks very cool! I like the way the lights are a continuation of the stripes. Really neat!
