Good but not over priced cover ?

Long story slightly shorter. I have been complaining to Boss to talk to building owner about the use of 200mph blowers around the cars. They allways try to blow the dirt and grass off the cars, I asked them to STOP that a year ago.

Yesterday I washed my MINI at lunch time and after work my car was covered in debris and when I looked out the windshield I saw a pit right in my line of sight, found a few more as well.

Notified Boss who notified building owner. Any idea on if this may get resolved ? ie a new windshield ? How much does a genuine MINI glass windshield cost to get replaced ? I have heard horror stories about broken trim, loose trim etc when the usual glass guys do it. If they are going to pay for it I would like to have it done at dealership.

Any legal people on here care to chime in a PM any advice ? I sure don't want to ding my INS for it.

I am looking at buying a cover for lawn days.

I am just so pissed right now because I warned them about this, I hate to think how many unseen paint chips I have.

A MINI dealer wind shield is almost a grand in Canada. If someone else is paying, I'd go dealer. If not, ask your local club who'd they go to.

I think tata Steve had a clubman cover for sale. Look for the "Red Baron" thread to contact him

Here are some MINI Car covers. They are a snug fit , some indoor and outdoor version.

There is a new indoor version More % design. Pretty cool. Keeps the dirt and dust off.

Hope you can get the window fixed.
