Help Request: R55 Clubman, Dome, Footwell, Puddle Lights not working

Hi All,

I put this originally in the R55 forum, and no response.

My Dome, Footwell, Puddle Lights in my 2009 Clubman aren't working. I've already tried the following:
  • Checking Fuses - All okay, including the one marked for dome light
  • Re-installing bulbs, none burned out
  • Reset procedure outlined in other forums (holding dome light switch for 3-10 seconds).
  • Resetting all settings by unplugging battery overnight.
  • trying my other FOB and resetting all settings and light reset procedure
The rear "boot" light and puddle lights work on the barn doors.

What gives? Can anyone help?

Thank You...In The Dark,

Chuck

Thanks, Dan.

Looks like all roads lead to the FWM. Do you think I can reprogram this via the OBD without a trip to the dealer?

+1 on the Foot Well Module, did you have a sunroof leak ( maybe from a drain hose ), and did the foot well module get wet ?

Thanks

I'm going to pull out the panels and check for leaks. If it's dry, do you think it's a programming issue?

Most likely not a programming issue, unless someone unplugged them all individually or something.

Check the footwell module. Check the interior fuse for the lights also. Think its for all interior lights.

FOOTWELL DRY: AT A LOSS, STILL IN THE DARK - Hi Everyone, Thanks for the help, but so far, I still don't know what to do.

All the affected lights are on the Brown/Yellow circuit, and the FWM is completely dry. The entire footwell area looks sparkling, clean and dry. I've unplugged and replugged the connectors, and still no lights. The dome, puddle, footwell and club door courtesy light do not work at all.

Could it be a programming issue?

Still in the dark,

Chuck

Having a similar problem, only different lights:

My split door courtesy lights, luggage compartment light, and map/reading lights are all out. I haven't checked the FWM yet, but every fuse I can find is fine. Sounds like I have to get to the dealer? Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I was recently trying to change the Luggage Compartment light to an LED one in my 2008 Clubbie and when I took out the old incandescent and put the LED in it would not turn on and my barn door lights turned off as well, and when I went in the car the reading lamp weren't turning on either, don't want to go to the dealer as I was there last week and it's an hour away, does any one have a clue as to why this could be? Could it be Fuse 14 which seems to be interior lights?
