Anyone used/uses MINI bike carrier # 82720443635
Pardon me for cross-posting but I feel that the Clubman group would probably have more experience with this question.

If I'm reading it right, Part # 82720443635 is the older style fork-mounted bike carrier. Is that right?
I'm wondering though, how does it clamp the bicycle fork? Is that **** ratcheting or something? I'm used to the Thule ones where you push the cover down and you can definitely feel the resistance so you know it's clamped on there. How about this specific MINI carrier?
