nitrous wet system install. need help please
Hi guys, new to the forum and have done all the searching I can for the last three days, so please keep the bashing to a minimum.
My question is for the n14 turbo motor. I have a NX wet kit. Everything is installed EXCEPT the additional fuel line for the nozzle.
It seems that I would have to cut and re-flare the fuel line for a tee fitting.
Is there any way to get around doing that to keep the fuel line factory and not cut.
What size is the bolt and tread pitch that goes into the fuel rail. I hope I'm describing the situation correctly and can try to post pictures of what I'm talking about. Thanks for any help

Ok I'm gonna through this out at you. Assuming your going for a 100hp shot that will require 9-10psi of fuel , I'm not sure what effect that will have on your HPFP , as in the sudden drop of it's fuel feed while under heavy load/boost , you could have a serious over lean kaboom . I would consider running a separate fuel pump for the NO3 system. And if your N14 is stock I'm not sure the rods and pistons can take over 300hp.
Best of luck, you are the first person I heard of attempting NO3 on a MINI.

Boom!!!
The turbo alone can make enough HP to crack the pistion skirts on a n14....scaring the cylinders, effectively destroying the motor....
Add nitro....be sure to post the video.... Will be interesting...
One suggestion....tap the fuel line before the hpfp...the electric pump in the tank should give you all the psi you need....

P.S.
The mini turbo motors utilize DIRECT INJECTION.....fuel is injected directly into the cylinders using injectors screwed into the head like spark plugs....adding fuel to the intake might increase chances of detonation, since fuel is injected so late in the combustion cycle....
I would research a bit more...mini motors are about $5000....so $$$ to blowup.
