2009 Clubman S Manual with 32,000 miles. My OBC says 21 mpg, but I've only owned the car for a month and only filled it up one time. I'm tracking it on Gas Cubby, so hopefully I'll get better gas mileage than the previous owner! I do mostly city driving though...

Love my car!!

Got an 08 recently and it's around 21 mpg in city roads. For a 90% highway road trip recently it was 35mpg. Wondering if 21 is a reasonable city mileage

With my 2009 Clubman S, manual and only on my second tank of gas, doing only city driving with lots of stops and starts...so far my mileage is only 19. So, I think you're at normal.

2013 JCW manual that has 10K on it. Drove about 6,500 miles during MTTS2014, with a average of 33.8 mpg over the entire trip. Actual mileage figured from the odometer and the pump.

I'm averaging about 31 MPG here in LA with some street and freeway driving. That also includes a trip into the mountains where the last hour was uphill and only about 15-20 MPH.

2009 R55s A/T sport/paddles sometimes... 60 miles one-way to work, 50 on freeway at 70-85mph. OBC lately combined at 30mpg- never calculated it, but it's not far off; usually 410miles/tank of 93. A/C always. Conti Extreme 17". 95k miles... Turbo being replaced now- maybe it'll get better? Nah, I'm gonna drive it harder...

Hmm, I have a 2012 Justa Clubman with manual transmission and average a dead on 29.5 mpg hand calculated. It's a daily driver with 17k miles on the engine. I normally drive to and from work, 10 miles away. My commute is mixed highway (75-85 mph) and suburbs (30-40mph with 2 to 3 stoplights).

My MPG seems low, but then again my daily trips are short so I normally don't get to stretch out her legs on long highway trips. I do not baby her either (in and around the 2.5/3k-4k RPM range whenever possible).

I have an 08 Clubman base model 6 speed manual with 45000 miles on the clock.
Still has the original 16 inch conti run flats with 36psi front and 39psi rear.
Sport mode always on. Does that make diff? LOL

According to odometer and gas pump readings I average between 42 and 45mpg.

Approaching 5000 miles, my average is 30.3mpg over 11 fillups.

Fuelly stats:

One thing I have noted is that the onboard computer is 2 miles-per-gallon optimistic compared to the fuel consumption numbers.

6MT Justa.

78,000 miles
40% city / 60% hwy

average gas mileage for Clubman

2009 Clubman S
40,000 miles
10% Highway/50% city/40% stop-and-go
sport button: 50%
Average: 30.1 mpg
using premium 87 octane (Colorado, can't find higher octane)
On a sustained highway trip: 37.3 mpg

Would love to feel the difference with 91 octane at sea level.
