The only notable things to me are the 4 hp increase, the black interior buttons instead of silver, and the lightly redesigned (much for the better) button/knob portion right under the display in the center (for the non-nav).

Can't tell for sure from the one photo but it looks like the botton center row of switches may have been raised just a bit which would be nice; any travel mug in the cupholder (must have coffee) makes getting to the window switches a little tricky.

There's some new colors: Spice Orange, BRG ll, Eclipse Gray, and a non metallic light Blue available in December, but mostly, they are close to the same. The only REAL new colors are Spice Orange and the Blue. The Spice Orange looks to me, more like a bright Bronze, but that's just me. If I were thinking about a MCS, I'd give this color consideration, but I'm not.
The say that the new Audio Systems are on hold for a month or so, actually they say it will be weeks, not months. The Visual Boost Audio will sell well, I think. Priced at $1,000, and the NAV has been reduced and I think that more of those will be sold at $1,750. But being the cheap skate, and non literate in radio/computer functions I'll just go with the base, which is a HD system, with the one year subscription Sirius radio.
That's what I've found on colors and the radio system. The new systems will be nice and even with Mini and BMW's ways of extracting more dollars from us for options, these are really, good buy options. Of course it would have been nice for them to be really nice and included the Visual Boost Audio system in for free. Can't win them all
ANYONE HEARD, OFFICIALLY THAT IS, when the configuration will come on MINIUSA? I can't understand why they still have the 2010 configuration on their site when the 2010 hasn't been available for direct order since July 11th?
Oh yes i can, they don't want to completely kill the sales of the 2010's on the Mini lots. Still, some dealers saw all this coming and have a limited supply of 2010's. Anyone know anything about this?
White silver is also added to all models, I did order mine last Tuesday...

Do you have any prices on the base S, or JCW models and the option prices? That White/Silver is my second choice, and could become my first choice, but I would like to see what it looks like in person. I know that it's on the Camden as the 1st choice color, but I haven't even seen a Camden in person.
So, did you have to hogtie your saleman to order a 2011 for you? My guy doesn't want to talk about ordering before he has the prices. That's why I asked about prices. Looks like you ordered out a nicely optioned Clubman. The dimmable mirrors are going to be something that people miss in ordering.
The Color was my first option even in my first order but it wasn't offered for 2010, I saw it on Camden and at first sight I fall in love with it.
As far as pricing I ordered it w/o having the price but I ordered a 2010 in may with very similar specs and it was running around 32k MSRP I can't imagine this one would cost more than $600 to $700 more than the other one plus I had to order the Sirius for $500 on 10 which is free on 11 and ended up adding adaptive xenons (I believe it's a $100 option based on motoringfile) also added the dimmable side mirrors.
As far as an 11 I really didn't want to but my 10 came in with damages in five different area and they could not locate any 10 based on my specs so eneded up ordering 11. Also I don't know if you know dealers have allocations so your MA needs only modify one of their allocations not ordering from scratch.... Hope this helps.

Below is what I received from Miniusa when I asked if, and when they were going to update their website. Beings as a new 2010 hasn't been available to order from Mini Cooper in Oxford, funny how they still only have the configuration of the 2010. Do they want our business? Maybe we should think about VW GTI? Oh well.
Hi Bill,
Thanks for your response.
We do not have an approximate release date for the 2011 model year MINIs. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a date in which our website will be updated to reflect the new model year. Our website is updated frequently and will have the most up-to-date information. We appreciate your patience in the interim.

Just as much as it was before. Actually, the Prince motor, developed by Peugeot, about the only thing that Mini/BMW uses is the short block. The rest is all BMW engineered. That happens alot in the automotive business. Here in the US, Pontiac use to use Chevie motors, but the heads were completely different, especially in drag racing. Gabe in Motoringfile.com brought all this up a couple of months ago when all were concerned about the new valvetronic and if Peugeot would be using this same technology. WRONG!!!
Well folks, and they said that it would be Friday, GUESS NOT!!!! As of 19:14 pm, no 2011 ANYTHING on the miniusa. Who knows. Sent my order in this afternoon with codes from the Online Ordering Guide that I received on July 22, 2010. According to my Sales Rep, they are accurate.
Yes, and my MA told me two weeks ago that it would be on line before Sept 1st, but I am inclined to believe that the 10th, or before it will be there. I don't need it now, as I already have made my commitment.
Gabe on MF says 9/10 as well. Gives them a week before people start to show up at dealers demanding a 2011
