Anyone had a JCW Tuning Kit installed on your ClubmanS?

If you've had JCW kit installed, does your certificate of authenticity say R56 S next to the Tuning Kit No.:?

Is the title "Tuning Kit for MINI Cooper S"?
Just wondering if I got the wrong kit...

Mine has the R56 in the number also. The boxes the parts came in have R56 on them also. Even the Dealer thought they had the wrong kit at first. Does look kind of strange, an R56 kit on a R55. I rather it started with R55 myself.

Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to be sure the service guy wasn't feeding me a line when he said that was how it was supposed to be. It seem like they'd have the correct vehicle on the certificate, but whatever.

What did you think of the difference in the power/speed/performance of your clubman after the tune?

I've been contemplating getting this done for some time. Would love to hear your feedback on the results...

Thanks in advance!

I really like it. Normal/regular is almost a soft (old) sport. New sport is much more fun. Should have been like this in the first place.

I know some have asked this in the past, but I've never seen a decent answer. How loud is it? I went to the dealer to check out the sound of a JCW, but they didn't have one on the lot. I don't want it to be too obtrusive. I'm not 20 anymore. But I would like a decent low growl at idle.

It's definitely not obtrusive. I don't even know if i'd go as far as to say there's a low growl when idling. I'd say there's a low to medium growl when I rev it up or get over 3000 rpm.

I think it sounds great. A little louder burble at idle and definitely a nice growl while accelerating, then at speed it is almost gone. Just what I wanted, a little more sound without it become old real fast.
If you can keep your foot from hitting the accelerator too hard, you will hardly notice the difference, but that is part of the problem, the sound is intoxicating and it is running my gas mileage!

LOL. I have read that the mileage is the same with the kit, assuming you don't drive like a bat out of hell to enjoy the new found power and response. Then again...
