Loose 12v outlet

I haven't found anyone else with this problem. The 12v plugin, in the boot area is verry flimsy. When I plug into it, it just pushes through and the little round cover falls off. Am I really the only one or just the one complaining? I need to reinstall it and secure it better. Ideas?

Yeah I have a small sub powered there and its vibrated out (not all the way falling out) once so far. Im sure there are ones you could probably purchase to replace it entirely at parts stores, but like on mine i have to have the plug positioned juuust right for it to work properly.

Overall for the 9 months of having something plugged in there, its worked decent....i guess we'll see how long it lasts lol

Both outlets in the car are very flimsey. When I pull out an attached plug, the outlets also come off. I used some tape around the back of the plug and it helped. Some superglue also helped with the trim.

Mine seems to work find once I'm plugged in, but because it only works when the car is running, between my laptop, cell phone, flashlight, etc., I seem to always be plugging and unplugging something back there.
