Radio weirdness - electrical or early Halloween?

Recently, as I was driving to a local store less than a mile away, I went to change the radio station and no go. The buttons on the steering wheel, and the buttons on the dash did not change the station. I tried both a few times during my short trip. As I neared my destination, the station briefly changed from a music station to a broadcast of a hockey game, and then back to the same music station. A neighbor had experienced some electrical or software issues with their Mini and I figured that may be what was going on with mine. I was extremely surprised when I saw that my destination stop had a hockey game playing on TV. While not a hockey fan, I recognized the names of the team as the ones I heard on my car radio moments ago. When I got back in my car to come home after my brief visit, the radio was restored to normal functionality and I have not experienced the problem since. I thought I'd ask and see if anyone else had seen anything weird like this with their radios? This is a 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman S. Thanks-

GO over to the NAV and Audio section and you will find a couple of people have reported strange issues just as you have but then never seem to have it happen again.
