Mini Do More wiring harness

I bought the Mini Do More hitch and wiring harness. The hitch went on without a problem but the wiring harness install is a nightmare. Unless you have hands the size of a small child, and I don't, it's nearly impossible. One wire in particular is all but impossible. The wire for the taillights isn't near the tail light it's buried a foot behind the side panel in the inside of the car. The instructions that came with the harness said to check the website before installing just in case there were any latest and greatest changes. There isn't any place to look at the installation instructions on the web site. They mention an in line fuse on the website, but my harness doesn't have one. As soon as I turned the power on, the fuse to the rear power outlet, which powers the module, blew. No smoke. There isn't any place on the fuse panel cover for a fuse for the power outlet. Does anyone know where it is? I need to fix that before I can put a fuse in line on the module and then find the problem.

Wow! Sorry to hear about your problems, I bought a universal rear trailer light kit, (Much less than Mini Do More) and did have to bend out the passenger side rear panel to get to the taillight, it was not the blue/striped wire as I remember It was another one not mentioned on Mini Do More's installation instructions. Don't know if they changed the wires for the 09 Clubman? My kit had an inline fuse, I just jumpered it into the drivers rear lighter/power socket.

I don't know about any inline fuse to the driver rear lighter/power socket.

Good luck and keep your chin up.
