Miles to go, before I sleep,.....

These numbers are great to read about. I currently have 111,000 on my '06 Scion xB. Its my commuter. I am looking to jazz up my life a bit with a Clubman. Wasn't too sure about completely getting rid of the xB - it has been very trustworthy. But sounds like you've proved Mini to be very durable.

Am I correct in assuming none/to minimal garage time?

Woo Hoo !

In one year you used some 3,000 + gallons of gasoline plus 135 Qts of oil and 8 tires to hawk the wares of some huge medical company ! And contributed greatly to green house gasses and traffic congestion.

Just another point of view I am sure will come up. LOL.

Let's not go political, it ruins every thread, IMO...

Yeah, he probably should have just walked. People have to work, you know?

Seems to me the reader is happy to reach that milestone and happy about how much he gets to drive his car.

Regards,
Terry

I sold my 2004 scion xb at 130k miles, and now i've got about 3k miles on my Clubman s :-D

Had fun in the xb, but the extra power and 'newness' factor is great with the clubby s, get one!

Dang that is some serious driving. I've got 24k on my and it's a little over a year old.
My goal is to get at least 200k out of mine, who's with me?

I like your positiveness, TattedxB. Very interesting to hear from a fellow Scion-ite. Pepper White, eh. More of a Blue person, or Red.

Hey, I see Alarm on your list. Did you go with the $500 option, or the $228? Supposedly, my MA states, the $228 version is same thing, just installed AT the dealer (for about $400 extra labor).

81K on an '08? Wow, I thought I was 'bad' with 28K! Good for you; it's great to hear of someone who has racked up all those miles and has a smile on their face!

Thanks for the post, and Happy Motoring!

I traded in my 06 xB for a Mini Cooper S also and I love it. Haven't looked back. It's a great car.
