New 08 Clubman S owner

Just traded in my 04 MCS for an 08 Clubman S (dealer demo car).

I am having a blast driving this thing. Looking forward to my next road trip now.

Hi to all the Laser Blue Clubbie owners out there!

Long story short... I wanted to get into a second gen MINI. Also, the Clubman provides more capacity. Rear seats are usable by normal human beings and there is still adequate storage behind the seats.

Also, the newer cars feel more refined while still providing the "go cart" driving experience.

I to went from an 04 MCS. While I enjoyed my coupe my Laser Blue Clubman is a car I want to hold onto. It gets better gas mileage and is roomier for the kids while remaining a blast to drive.

I haven't driven the car long enough yet to see a difference in gas mileage. In my case I'm going from a MCS to a Clubman S so I'm not expecting to see that much of a difference.

I have a couple of road trips coming soon so it will be a good time to test it out and see.

I am amazed at how smoother the drive is in the Clubman though, and I have the sport suspension. It's firm but smoother than my old MCS.

Just hoping it proves to be reliable and "gremlin" free!
