Buzzard 1, HC Clubman 0

I just suffered the first accident in my HC Clubman. A buzzard took off from some roadkill and I smashed it at 45 mph with my passenger side mirror.

The mirror and most of the plastic around it exploded; I had to cut the wires to keep the remains of the mirror shell from scratching up the side of my Clubman.

Any ideas on cost to replace a passenger side mirror (including probably the wiring harness to the power mirror)?

Ouchie!! Bet that rattled you a little. Glad it wasn't a windshield or something like that. Sorry, I have no idea about price of repair.

And I'm guessing since the buzzard got a point that it was able to survive the impact...?

Nope - the buzzard is definitely dead. The impact was more than enough to do the job.

Holy crap. That's an expensive buzzard.

But, with the defeat of the opponent in battle...I'd say you at least broke even on the scoreboard.
