It's been a long ten weeks, but I finally have a real production number! A fellow at ASK-MINI was able to give me the production week but he wasn't sure about the model year so he suggested I call my MA. My MA (oh wait, that's SC = Sales Councilor) didn't know either except that the price increase (!) indicated it would be a 2009. Sure enough, the production number was recognized for the first time in the OL yesterday and it says 2009. Thus far I haven't been successful in convincing my MA/SC to honor the 2008 price I contracted for but I'll be happy if he includes a few accessories that come from the dealership at no charge. I'm so excited about this car!

Congratulations! I didn't know that if you didn't hear from your MA that you could call Ask-Mini.
