boot stripes and bonnet stripes?

has anyone ever did the bonnet stripes and boot stripe on the back door or will that look strange? I like the bonnet on the front and I would also like to have the stripes on the back doors as well, I'm not crazy with the racing stripes on the hood. Thanks!

I went with the black Sports Stripes on the hood because I really like the look of the boot stripes with the PW/Black combo. The Sport Stripes don't cover the S hood scoop, but if I don't like it, I may do the chrome scoop to bring it together.

That's one of the things I like about MINIs. Everyone can choose exactly what they like!
So go for it!

In my opinion, since the Clubman already has "stripes" running down the c-pilars through the rear lights, additional stripes on the boot make it look too busy.

Play around with photoshop and see how it looks to you. Better yet, if you have the time, take some paper strips to a dealer with a clubman and stick them on to see how they look "in person."

Remember, you can always remove them if you do not like them and you can always add some later if you feel need them.

Have you tried the configurator on MINI USA? That's how I decided to go with the stripe combo I went with. It's not that big of a deal to reverse, however you decide to go.
Cheers.

There are plenty of striped Clubmen - and plain ones - in the NAM Flickr pool.
