No fog light option does NOT leave empty sockets

I picked up my Clubman yesterday. I did not order front fog lights and figured there would be empty holes (like the way it looked in the configurer).
However, this is not the case; there are lights there. They come on when you turn on parking lights; and they are also on if you set your computer to have daytime running lights on.
So for everybody who spends the $250 only because they like the looks--save your money!!

That's true, but it still leaves an empty spot in the toggle switches.
Personally, I am still irritated that I don't have rear fogs and am missing that toggle switch. To me it just gives the interior of my car a slightly unfinished/unbalanced feel.

Congratulations on your Clubman!!!!!

if you leave off the front and rear fogs, the toggles are symmetric... just spaced out a bit...

I was sweating not having ordered the front fogs because I figured there would be an empty hole... hurray for the extra driving lights!

The fogs are split lights. Top half is a running light, bottom is the fog. So you're right, even if you don't get the fog option, the running light will still be there.

I got the fogs because I didn't have them on my 04, and all the missing toggles drove me nuts. Plus, I like fog lights.

I don't care about the switch so much, im wondering if the running lights come with the MC if I did not order the fog lights or is it going to be an empty slot on the outside.

Front fog lights are standard on the clubman s and cooper s but not on the clubman cooper. By the looks of Zeddy's car the diving lights are standard on the clubman so they should be on the cooper also. Just call your MA they should know for sure.

Question:

I got the front fogs, but did not get rear fog light.

I did, however, get the front driving lamps.

Will I have any empty switches?

yes, you needed to get the "rear fog light" ($100) to have the last toggle switch. You will be missing the second from the right (if I remember correctly) toggle switch. I wasn't going to get the rear fog since I live in Az, but the MA said he would recommend to get just to have all the switches so I did..

From what I have seen and read, the driving light switch is a rocker style and mounts in an area above your left knee in the lower portion of the dash. If you ordered the Color-line option, it would be in the lower left side panel of the dash that is colored.
