Official Hot Chocolate Owners Club

Guess I'll get this started. We don't have a badge yet and we don't have a cute HC Clubman graphic, but those things will come with time (along with our cars). I ordered mine yesterday. HC/S Clubman Sa with silver stripes, premium, cold weather, convenience, Aero kit, HC leather interior, rear fog, and white turn signals. Join the club while you wait for delivery.

Thanks. Now I'm looking for a bumper sticker or graphic that says:

wait for it...

"Stand back! I don't know how big this thing's going to get!"

I am interested in the HC clubman, but I think I like the black roof and c-pillars. Has anyone seen one and what are your thoughts?

My wife hates you, that is the exact car she wants now. We saw the hot chocolate at the LA auto show and now that is the car she wants. Only problem we just bought two new cars in 06 and I'm not willing to take the hit on the Accord with just under two years of use on it yet. Only good part is when we do get it I get the 06 PW/S as my permanent car.

Hello America this is England calling!

Here's a quick photoshop pic of a Choco and black combo for anyone interested in this spec. Have to say our grey UK weather doesn't do the chocolate a lot of justice but when the sun comes out it looks very cool, the colour in natural cloudy light looks very different to all the show pics (a lot darker). Anyway my photoshop pic gives a rough idea, yet to see how black and choco looks as all the UK demos and show cars have been with silver roofs.

Have to wait until Tuesday when i pick up my Choco & Black Diesel Cooper Clubman up!!!! Sorry had to put that, but I have been waiting 3 months!

Will post some real life piccys next week for yah.

Cheers

Browns the new Black!

HC is a very nice color for the Clubby. I really like the black roof and pillars on that color. Not all the colors can pull off a nice look with the pillars and rear bumper in black. We're looking at probably ordering a PW Clubby S with black bonnet stripes, black roof and pillars, with the JCW black R105 18 inch wheels. That combo looks awesome on the configurator. The other toss up color for us is Dark Silver with Black roof and pillars and with the same R105 wheels. I'm just curious though, I thought HC was only going to be offered on the Cooper Clubman, not the S, but on the configurator, you can order that color on the S Clubman. The other thing, I noticed you have to pay extra for Xenon lights. According to Motoringfile.com, they are supposed to come standard on both the S and Cooper Clubman.

I thought we should get the dark silver/black combo too. We really liked it on the MCS. I also figured we wouldn't have to spend 4 hours trying to decide on a color like we did for the MCS. However, the wife said "We can't get the same color. I won't be able to tell them apart!" Sooo, we went from dark silver to lightning blue and then, after a night of looking at the UK configurator, finally decided on the hot chocolate. It was a toss up as to silver or black for the roof. We sort of flipped a coin and went with silver. I like both of them. I'm looking forward to those bright sunny days when the hot chocolate takes on a completely different look.

Good luck with your decision. Whatever it is, I know it will look great. After all, it's a MINI!

I had planned on going to the LA auto show but was recovering from an illness. What C pillar color was on the hot chocolate Clubman? Was there a sparkling silver one there?

Couple more piccys for yah, only took a few as the weather is grey, foggy and wet so its ready for its first wash! Done 150 miles today and it drives superb, very very happy with the colour combo and wheels, well worth the extra money. Only negative is the leather cloth interior is 90% cloth and 10% leather but hey at least it saves on the cows hide! The diesel engine is super torquey kinda sits between a cooper and cooper S in terms of power, just enough ooomph and averaged 62mpg over the journey

I'll get some more pics up when the sun comes out to shaow how different the colour looks in the sun but that may not be for another 6 months!

Nice to be back in a car that you just can't help turning back and having a look at as you walk away.

Ok folks, thanks to Cooperation we now have a badge, but we may have to change the name of the thread and the club!

So, do we change the name to Mini Clubman Owners Club and try to impose on Cooperation to make badges in various colors, or try to get the badge changed to Hot Chocolate Owners Club?

CapriGT - We'll do a sun dance for you.

Never mind about changing the name. Thanks to Cooperation, the problem is solved. Here are the Hot Chocolate badges with both silver and black trim, large and small (even though they look the same size on the screen).

I don't have plans to buying one, but, I've already got ideas for car names and license plates going through my head!! You can pretty much choose any (preferably your favorite) candy bar on the market to use as a name...

Snickers
Mars
Hershey
.....the list is utterly endless

That color combo looks particularly nice

Hey CapriGT
Did you get the optional rear fog lights? I cant tell from the configurator whether those little horizontal strips are the fog lights or not. Havent seen a Clubman without those horizontal lights. If so, looks WAY better than the fogs on the reg Cooper.

Just curious. Let me know. Configuring as we speak...
