Cabrio Top Problem

My 2005 cabrio has only 18,000 miles. Put the top down and heard a loud crunch. When I put it up the inside sides behind the rear windows were all detached and broken plastic fell into the back seat. I guess the inside of the top got caught when it went down and broke just about eveyrthing.

Anybody had any experience with this? Can it be fixed myself? It looks like I will ned to take all the canvas off and totally replace the inside side wings.

Top problem

Drive (don't walk) to your dealer on this. I am not sure whether this is still formally under warranty but there have been enought issues with the cabrio roof that they should cover it anyway. If the dealer doesn't help, contact miniusa.
