Closer to pulling trigger: opinions wanted!

Alrighty -

Somewhat sadly, all the dealerships that have HO MCSCa's are apparently clueless, uncaring, or shady.

However, I have found a few cars in Black which fit the bill quite nicely, and I do love a black car... Still looking for an S conv, with CWP and Auto. Premium and Sport would be nice but not necessary.

SO, that said:
- One car I'm looking at, the dealer says there's a little bit of pitting on the hood. Awaiting what the painter says about touching up and buffing and whatnot, versus having to get the whole hood done.

- How expensive would it be to upgrade the 16" wheels to 17" Bullets? (the other two cars I've narrowed down have crown spoke 17s, but one has the 16s, I think they're Keystone style)

- The cars I'm finding are generally 06s with ~30k on the clock for just over $20k. Fair enough deal?

My cabrio is an 07 with 47k, so I would say that an 06 with 30k sounds great.
That would mean that the previous driver only drove an average of 10k per year which is 5k below the average driver.

Black's nice, for sure. But shows the dirt too easily. After having two black cars, I've sworn not to have another unless I win the lottery and can pay someone else to keep it clean on a regular basis. My 06 JCW cab is dark silver with black top and black and carbon fiber accents. 'Looks way sharp and I can let it get a bit dirty before it starts to bug me.

i too thought of the dark silver/charcoal gray color, but for some reason the slab sides of the Mini make it not totally work for me - I like it, I just don't love it.

My last five cars have been charcoal, black, silver, charcoal, black - and I just like black the best. (The silver one was a Vette, which I WISH I had gotten in black, and the second charcoal one was a LR Disco, which I actually thought looked best in the charcoal color)

I don't know if you seen this one on auto trader (AT-1003BC02) 17 inch wheels 2006, automatic, 26,000 miles, 20K.

Pull the trigger!

I couldn't afford the R57 Convertible at $30K plus.

I just got an 07 Red MCSa Vert w/27K for $19K to replace the 07 Red Beetle Vert. I'm just trying to get used to the R52 Supercharger.

There is some pros and cons between my R56 Turbo and Supercharger that I'm trying to get use to.
