Convertible Rear Seat Locks

I purchased a set of leather seats for my 2006 JCW Convertible that came from a 2007 S Convertible. Got them for a song. The locks in the rear seats of course do not match my keys. I am wondering if anyone has every changed the locks out in the rear seats and if so what all did you have to do?

Thanks!!!

Adam

Cool! I think you'll like the leather - love mine.

I've never seen anyone post about switching out the locks... nor have I seen any docs on it... I suspect it's pretty straightforward once you get the seatbacks off... but I don't know how they come off... so this post is worthless.

Umm... can that person buy you a spare plastic key so you can unlock your seats?

The BMW/TIS manual says the seat back panels come off by levering, then the locks are exposed.
