How do I find the mfctr part number for a cabrio car cover?

I've got a 2005 MCS cabrio and am trying to find out the manufacturer part number for the factory outdoor car cover. The number I see most often is 82 11 0 395 485. Someone local is selling one from their car and they said it is the right one for me but its part number is [FONT=&quot]82 11 0 146 492. I can't find that part number anywhere. Is there a list of Mini part numbers somewhere?

The "most-often" number you quoted (ending in 485) is the one shown at the online store for MINI dealers. The number ending in 492 does not get a response when you run it at realoem.com Try calling your local dealer's Parts Dept; or worst case scenario, get the local guy to bring over his "right cover" to you for a test fit on your car.
