The bulldog badge is NLA. But everything else looks in great shape. Congrats.

Hit me up when you want to sell a LoSC. I would like a good one I have an 05SCA 56k, with aero kit, nav, butt warmers if you want something slow to reminisce.

OMG, OMG, OMG - just bought a LotSC!

So I did it - I just bought a LotSC! The dealer has sent me 2 photos of the sills - but I cannot make out the "# of 100"... Is there a way to look that up by VIN?

So, I'm number 37 of 100, and of course someone stole the awesome badge off the grill. Luckily there wasn't any damage, it just popped off the mount. Long shot, but anyone know of any floating around?

Hope you can find one , they are NLA. And very rare. If you cant find one you can always get a MTTS badge still. Good luck.

Keep on the lookout here: Sometime they pop up. Or secrh for 2008 MINI convertible , some ads don't show the LOTSC models , good luck.

Lotsc #56

I purchased #56 a couple weeks ago. Spent its life on the East Coast until I purchased it in New Jersey and drove it back to Colorado.

Only 47000 miles on the odometer and it feels solid and runs strong.

The Last of the Supercharged R52's come from the factory with the JCW kit, limited slip differential and JCW brakes. I'm probably not going to do any engine mods.
I have put on a Borla sport exhaust. The JCW exhaust just wasn't loud enough for me.

Your internals are all basically the same as my 07. I did some engine tweaks and quite happy with the results, about 150 bhp per liter.

Wow you have the aero kit also. MINI just NLA the front bumper from the Aero kit. So if you need to get parts for that jump on them. MINI seems to be killing gen1 rare MINI parts off.

Good info. Thanks. I hadn't thought of increasing power but you can never have too much, right?

Thanks for the update on the Aero Kit front bumper. My luck I'll need parts after they are no longer available.

ECSTuning is getting a lot of my business lately. Great parts source for my Mini's and my 380SL.

Your welcome. I Just picked up a Aero kit last year for the R52 when they went on sale and sold out. Glad it did then, dang bumper is nla now.

If you need anything let me know and thanks again for all your business, for both the MINI and the 380SL. The 230SLs remind me of the BMW 507 a little.

You can get to 240 or 250 bhp without having to do too much other than a cam, some injectors, a tune and if your hearing can take it, a header. I didn't do the header but more than quite happy with what the car is now.

There are a whole lot of people out there that have no idea what a forced induction Mini can do. There is a thread in the R53 section about a GTI and the Mini being too slow. Mega72 just posted a video from him at VIR this past weekend. He was chasing and catching a 400 hp plus Vette. He did something similar to me but went with the header.

Amazing power for a small engine. Nice to know I have options. For now I'll be a poser and stick with the JCW power and loud exhaust.
I have added some great interior accessories.
1. Interior parcel shelf. I think all Mini's should have this as standard.
2. Custom Whalen shift ****. Brilliant work as usual from Mr. Whalen.

Hey all! I'm a Motoring Advisor at Baron MINI in Kansas and until now, my manager had the bulldog badge sitting in his desk waiting for the right person to give to, and he bestowed it upon me recently. I have an '06 R53 with 162,000 miles on it, and while it wasn't the last of the supercharged to be made, I like to think that in a way, it's the last of the supercharged that are around anymore. Nice to be part of a little niche club.
