With the recent forum reorganization, there seems to be some confusion as to the intended use of this forum.
Although almost all of the old "MINI Talk" threads were moved to this forum, it was intended as a temporary measure.
This forum is supposed to be for topics specific to 1st Generation MINIs.
If you want to post a general question about all MINIs, regardless of generation, or let people know about something "MINI-related" (yet not specific to 1st Gens), then please post it in the "General MINI Talk" forum or one of the other appropriate forums.
Over the coming weeks (and months, most likely!) I will be going back through all of the old archived threads here, and moving many of the non-generation-specific threads over to GMT.
This is important, because many of the new 2nd Generation buyers will probably never look in this forum, so GMT is the best way to share general MINI-related stuff!
