Took it in last week after the fan quit blowing on me. They couldn't figure it out, so they tried to blame it on my aftermarket driving lamps! First of all, the lights are not connected to the ignition switch or anything. It is totally independant and only makes connection to the positive and ground. SO they continued the search and found that a resistor went out. They replaced it.
I got my car back and the very same day it went out again. Called them back and scheduled another day to take it in.
Best part is, the dealership (Assael BMW) loans cars out, but only to BMW buyers! Apparently their mini division doesn't allow for loaners. After talking to the service writier, he said he'd be able to get a loaner this time, but I'd have to wait until Tuesday because it will not be possible for them to lend one out during the holiday (which makes no sense)!
Anyone else having these problems?
I know for sure that when they call to ask about my experience and what I'd rate them, they'll get an earfull from me.

Well they replaced it again and they still want to blame it on my lights! They said they won't charge me for the work though. So that right away tells me that they have no evidence at all that my lights are doing that or they'd charge me in a second for the work.Tyler

unless your lights were wired into the a/c blower system there's no way they can say that's what did it:impatient how could they???
Well I got it back today. They still insists that it's the lights, but the service writer said, "The Techs think it's the lights, but I don't want to blame you and I don't want you blaming Asael (dealership). I just want it fixed and I wil not charge you." Now at first that may sound nice of them, but I am still angry about them blaming me. Upon reading their write up on the problem, turns out a wire came loose from the a/c blower they replaced last week. So it was their fault, but of course they won't say that.
Hopefully this time it stays fixed.
