MINI Contest

There's a MINI contest through Grand Marnier (bettermargarita.com) and they're giving away a red MINI. I couldn't get any takers in my office to enter because they've seen the problems that I've gone through with my 03. Love my MINI, but the quality of some of the parts is low.

The fine print in the rules states that the winner will be receiving a USED MINI that has been used for promotional purposes.

I'll still take a free used MINI though. . . .

Used Stuff

I've had more than a couple used things in my life, and some were sweet.

I'll take a used mini. They are even going to be nice and take the promo decals off of it. The pictures could be wrong, but it looks like a 'seven' special edition mini.

They don't like Utah either.

I actually saw the promo car today whilst at my local cantina this evening. The Grand Marnier girls were there too.

I was pretty bummed when I came home and found out we in CA can't play. But, I do have a picture of the promo car. It looks like the entire car is vinyl wrapped, except the roof. There are green glow sticks under the 'rocks' to get that margarita color. I really want the lime slice.
Oh, the interior is cordoba.

Shelly
You really know you've had too many if the cars on the road start looking like drinks!

So what if it's used. It's a 2006 CR/CR MC with about 7500 miles on it!

I entered!

Trip for two (2) to Grand Cayman Island, Bahamas per web site.....

Grand Cayman is not in the Bahamas

As you can see Grand Cayman is South West of Cuba and the Bahamas is North east of Cuba...

Maybe it's "secret code" for splitting the difference and putting you in Cuba... on a one-way ticket?

Hey Shelly, I saw the same one. It was driving through the Encinitas train station parking lot yesterday evening. Of course I didn't have my camera with me...

I also saw one back in DC last month when I was back there on business...

Woohoo, I'm in baby yeah! Heck I made a few offers on '03s. This would rock for a bio diesel or bio rum project.

Don't forget the two charity MINI raffles.
The Mini for Hope only had about 200 tickets sold on Jun 17 which was the day they initially thought to have enough tickets sold to do the drawing. They are drawing once 1000 are sold. 1 in 1000 is pretty good odds and for a good cause.
