I have just recieved my copy of the AAA members mag "Going Places". On the inside cover is a pix of a mcs with the caption "The Mni-Cooper, AAA Cool Car for 2003."
Here is the online version for your reading pleasure:
The great thing about the MINI...which has had so much hype...is that these writers get behind the wheel and the car just speaks for itself. No pretense. Ya gotta love a car more than lives up to...and exceeds...any hype that's out there. How many of us were thunderstruck by our first test drive...I certainly was.

I noted once before that I was ON MY WAY to order another car when I just happened into a MINI dealership here in Columbus O.
I was all GRIN when I was done. It took about a minute to make the decision.

Laurie and I were. It took me about a month to get her to go and test drive a MINI. The reason...she said if she drove it she would have to buy it (love at first sight). The last time I drove a car, got out and said "I have to have one of these" was in 1982. I took a DeLorean out for a ride. Never got one and I wasn't going to repeat the same mistake.
