One of the stunt drivers for the Italian Job was at my college today as a part of a Volkswagen promotion. I thought he was just a car salesman but after talking to him for a while I found out he's one of the few Americans preparing to compete in the Paris-Dakar rally. Anyway, I digress.

He told me they shot a scene where they launched three mini coopers (not S's) down a flight of stairs into the subway (stock suspensions). They had to reshoot the scene five times, and the cooper held together like a champ! No problems whatsoever, apparently.

They gave the Coopers electric motors to make a getaway through the LA subway. AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Someone please post some Italian Job 2K3 pictures - I know I have seen some - especially with the lovely 3 Coopers in a warehouse - one was red, one was pepper white and the other escapes me now.

Post em here is you can.

It's available for PC too. I picked it up about 2 months ago at Sams Club.
