R50/53 Tire Pressure Question

Tire Pressure Question
So, My '06 MCS has the little sticker on the driver's door that says 35 PSI, but the sidewall of the Yokohama tires says max 51 PSI. That's quite a difference and I'm not sure what pressure at which I should be keeping the tires.
They aren't run flats, and I have the 17" rims.
Thanks

I run 35psi in my tires...no issues at all. I've gone up to 38psi, and down to 32psi.....and settled for right at 35psi on all 4.

Tire pressure is all subjective.
The runflats are so stiff that you could realistically run about 20 PSI and be fine, but conventional tires will vary. Not to mention it depends on what you're doing, you will want to run a different pressure for daily driving and fine tune pressures for a track day.
36 is perfect for these cars, as you have a perfect foot print and ride quality.
But don't run 51 PSI, it makes for an uncomfortable ride. That just denotes how much the tire is rated for, always start at what the door sticker says, but again subjective depending on what you're doing.

Yep, stick with the door jam sticker as mentioned above. That's always your safest bet to stick with. Overfilling will cause abnormal tire wear causing you the need to get new tires sooner rather than later. Can't tell you how many times I saw this when working at the dealer.
