Fun with Parts
So I just picked up an intake manifold, post IC horn and bypass valve for cheap money. I was going to make them look nice for my car with some paint, and do some porting, and add my meth injection site on the horn so it all goes together nicely.
I did not realize how bad the casting is for the ports on the intake manifold. cylinder 4 has like a .175 lump on the bottom of material, none of the ports are within .050 of the gasket marks, slag hanging from many places. just straight up baffles me. ill post some pictures when I get the chance. there should definently be some gains just for cleaning this thing up

Sounds like some rough casting flaws, when you get them port and polished post up the pics. have seen some of these powered coated , looks pretty nice.
