how many ft/lbs did you end up torquing them?

I would check behind that cover before pulling the tranny back out. Also if you jack the car up on the driver side only you might get away with not draining, but not positive on that.

that seems very low, but then again maybe thats why I snapped a bolt!
How's yours coming along?

That's what recommended for M8 bolts.
I was suppose to work on it a lot this weekend but I caught a f....ing cold so It will have to a wait a bit. I'll stay calm for a couple of days. It's not a hurry for me anyway cause it's winter here at it's worst -10f and I when finished I want to make road tests when the snow will be gone (beginning of april)

Here it is. I'm done rebuilding the tranny. Completely closed. I did'nt have any problem putting back the valve body. Lucky me.
I still have to change the lower arms bushings and an upper front shock support and I'll put back the tranny in place and pray

Hey dazz, how is the car going? Did you take out the tranny again?
