My son is stationed at MCAS Beaufort (South Carolina) with my old 2006 R53.

I know Way is over in Atlanta, but is there a mechanic in the Charleston or Savannah area anyone would recommend?

First a lot of support for those in South Carolina dealing with the massive flooding. Beaufort was (mostly?) spared but the video we are seeing on the national news is just, wow.

I wrote my original post late night without much thought about current events.

As a survivor of the 2007 SoCal Witch Creek fire that destroyed mine and 1200 other homes you have my sympathies, understanding, and prayers.

Thanks for the link, and it's definitely "plan B.". However most of the shops returned for that area have no reviews so what is the criteria used for the "recommendation"? (Rhetorical question)

Perhaps in combination with Yelp, but the problem we were running into is the lack of substantive reviews.

I'll bump the question in a couple of weeks after SC has a handle on all of the flooding. Forum members from that part of the country have other things to deal with right now.

 

This is a good tool, but it's a pay to play site, so unless the shop pays them money, they might get overlooked.
