My interest in picking up a MINI has come back and I have started looking at cars in the area. I came across this one which seems like a pretty good deal. Any thoughts about it? Is it a good deal? http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/de...5666/overview/
If it's in good condition, that's a solid deal. You can't see from the pics whether it has a pano sunroof or not. Don't forget to budget maybe a grand to to little fixes and maintenance to get the car up to snuff.

Looks pretty clean and well kept. Get a PPI before buying it. I have heard a lot of s**t about the 02-03 trannsmisions. The price is suspicous make sure to properly check it for any probloms and check the carfax do set aside some $$ for tune ups, tires ect.
Thats one of the reasons the price is so low. You could ask for a carfax from somebody here on the foroms or maybe the mini dealer will.
Carfax is not any better than what was provided. You need a qualified mechanic knowledgeable about accident repair to check it out. I'd skip it unless dealer gives you a guarantee and right to return it in a reasonable time frame.

carfax is just a skim over before getting a mechanic to look at it.
