R53 Guide tube scratched up
So my throwout bearing disintegrated and scratched my guide tube up sort of bad. I took some emery paper and a light file and smoothed it out. Is that good enough? Do i need to replace the guide tube?
Also, my fork slides out of the bell housing about 1/2 an inch before stopping. If i do this, i cant lower the fork until i push it back in. Whats up? I don't see any missing pins or small notches that are missing that would prevent it from coming out...
Is this normal? What do i do? Can I fix my fork if it isn't normal?

The guide tube is cheap enough that I go ahead and replace them with each clutch job as I'd hate to pull a trans gain just cause of a guide tube issue.

Don't worry about the fork unless it's bent. It's a pain to get out as it needs the right angle to get out.
