R53 inlet duct change
Hi guys/girls
First post so Im hoping Im doing this right.
Got a r53 jcw ( jcw package added afterwords) with a cracked inlet duct.
Been searching everywear to find how to replace it but cant find anything about just this part.
Found great Threads about how to get in to front end by this forum but just be sure.
To change this you have to remove front bumber, crashbar, radiator. Correct? or is there more to remove to change this?
Im a noob at mechanic
Submitted a picture of the part thats cracked.

Welcome to the MINIacs!
This is really close to what you want, they go on to do a lot of work, but to do what they are doing they show the removal of the intake tube. Give it a watch, you will see they remove the whole front end to make the job much easier... it is more work but you will save time and trouble in the process.
Link was lost.... hmmm? anyway the next one should show you what you wanted to know...
Motor on!
