Is there any guide to changing the leather eBrake and Shift Gaiters?

I got new leather gaiters and don't know how to change them. Are there any guides on how to change them? I have zip ties ready and in hand.

The one's I've seen doesn't show replacing the shift gaiter or show in detail the ebrake gaiter and there's some inner locking of the shift ring and the portion that olds the holes for the gaiter.

I've got the ebrake gaiter removed to the point where I can't get the original back in place. I got the Craven Speed ebrake handle and working with Doug to get the tall shift ****.

I bought a leather shift boot & e-brake boot from Redline. They have installation instructions here.

I jast had the Redlinegoods shift/e-brake boots installed by dealer. The leather is way thicker than what come on the car. Made it difficult to attach the base of the boots to the clips under the base rings. The leather needs to be thinned.

I made my own and installed them, but that was 10 years ago and I've forgotten how I did it. It wasn't difficult, though...
