New Mini Owner

Although I've been a BMW owner for the last 15 years and current have a e92 335i, I've always wanted a Mini since the re-introduction. Yesterday, I picked up Bev. She's dark silver metallic 04 Cooper S. Today, was spent changing engine (BMW synthetic), tranny oil (Redline MTL), looking her over since it was dark when I got her home, and finally washing.

I just wanted to say hello.

A few photos

I think she has an after-market supercharger pulley. I'll try to get a good photo and ask for help in identifying which one it is

Pic is hard to see if it's silver it's a Helix pulley, if it's black it may be aluminum and be a madness. Can't tell the size but most likely a 15%.

It's black. I'll put a tape measure to it later to get the size.

I plan to change the plugs in the next week or so. Do I need to run cooler plugs due to the pulley? I thought I read that on the forum.

She also has an intake but it's not a good one at all. I'm thinking about just gong back to the stock air box with a performance drop in filter. Thoughts...?

If it's black it's prob a madness, unless someone painted a helix pulley.

YES with a pulley you need to run the cooler heat range

Intakes do help on the R53, if you want to go to a better intake go with the DDM.
