Brake Bleeding with Autoengenuity tool

HI all,
My 2002 R50 needed a new brake master cylinder, so after replacing I started bleeding the brake system with a power bleeder, and used the Autoengenuity scan tool to activate the ABS bleed mode.
Question is how many times should one have to activate the bleed mode to get all the air out of the ABS?
I have never had to do this so new territory for me.
Seems like every time I activate the bleed mode I get more air bubbles.
I inspected the entire brake system and there are no leaks.
So do I just have a boat load of air in the system, and to keep on bleeding, or am I missing something else.
Many thanks for any advice.
Regards
Jeff

Did you start by Bench bleeding your new Master Cylinder? Not doing this can add a large amount of air into the system.

I like using a bleeder like a pneumatic Vacuum Brake/Evacuator Bleeder MV6830 (by MITYVAC) for example and let the system flush the system fully.

Best of luck.

Motor on!

I have to bleed my slave cylinder so I figured I'll bleed the break system too, but that was before learning the ABS has to be put into bleed mode. Where is this tool? And how does one active bleed mode with it? First result on eBay was $20 with a USB end the second result was $6,000 and comes as a laptop.

I have bled my 2003 MCS several times without activating any bleed system. I just use a Motive power bleeder and do the whole system. Never had an issue and the ABS still works fine. Am I doing something wrong?
