New Member. New obsession.
Hello all! Just joined this site 2 days ago after looking at a 03 S BRG(waiting for the owner to get the title before purchasing).
Very informative site & have learned a lot already.
Hope to have my Mini some time next week. I'll post more pics after the purchase.

Welcome to NAM! Hope it all works out with the sale. Since you're in Orlando, I'll drop two pieces of advice your way: 1) join the Sunshine MINIs group on Facebook or register on the Sunshine MINIs website. Lots of good info on local & statewide events; and 2) look up Maitland Importers in O-town. Ian Stewart is the man at that shop & has TONS of experience with MINIs (and racing other cars). He'll be a great resource should you need maintenance & repairs, or info on/installation of upgrades & mods.
Happy Motoring!

Found out my Mini was pre-wired for 6 CD Changer. So I removed my Audiovox(DICE)Mediabridge from my BMW & decided to install it in my Mini.
Instead of connecting the cables & running it to the glovebox I chose to mount it in the boot.
The yellow E-tape is to keep the unit from splitting open. When it was mounted in the Bimmer,I pulled the unit out of the glove box, which it was attached via velcro, and it came apart.Lesson learned.
