I'm Al Hafner with Promini/BMP design. We have just signed up as a forum sponsor. You may have seen posts in the past with the User name of BlueThunder. Bluethunder was the name we gave our first Cooper S project car. White top, electric blue. One of the only 2 color choices in 2003. We modified that R53 to a respectable 245hp. Our second project car was SilverSonic. This was a 2004 R53 converted to Turbo which got a whopping 320H.P. We used those cars for various magazine articles, then sold them. Both cars have resurfaced in our lives several time through different owners. My back round in the automotive field as a mechanic started in 1971 servicing Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, and air colded VW.



My company sells parts and accessories for BMW since 1983 and Mini Cooper since 2002. We also have a full service facility named Al Hafner Tuning. Same locations sharing the same 14,000 sq ft facility. I've personally owned 3 Minis over the years, Two R53 , one R50 CVT. We have also built and sold several others, and modified several for our customer. We are an Importer for Supersprint Exhaust of Italy, and also have several products that we have developed for Minis over the years. We offer a large selection of specialty tools for BMW and mini Cooper.



Although I don't know all the answers our shop has a lot of experiences with these vehicles. If you get stuck on a problem i'll try to help. I hope to share some interesting stories, and also to earn your business.
