Vent in Top Coolant Hose?

Hey I was just curious I got a Forge Silcone coolant hose kit, and was wondering if there is any reason I should cut the top hose and add in the stock air valve up there or is there no reason to. Thanks

You need it to bleed the air out of the system.

Yup...it is one of two places you need to let the air out of the cooling system when you fill it...
If you don't, you will have an airbubble in the cooling system, and the car will overheat....
