Canadian BRG MINIs are backwards! My American market CR has a dipstick on the headlamp washer tank, but not the windscreen washer tank.
Why is the windscreen washer tank lid on a hinge, and the headlamp washer tank lid pops off?

Because since the headlight washer only activates on every 3rd window wash, you are 3 times less likely to run out of fluid. With that logic, you should be 3 times more likely to top off your headlight washer fluid each time you remember to check the window washer dipstick.

Please go out to your BRG and check both washer tanks. The windscreen tank’s lid has a windscreen logo and the headlamp tank lid has a headlamp logo.
Is your windscreen washer on the passenger’s (right) side? Does it have a hinged lid? Does it have a dipstick? Have you been standing out in the cold too long?
