Nice Vid, thanks for sharing. How 'bout next time in the light of day. Interesting 'thud', perhaps it was 'road kill'?

I think that was the warranty dropping out of the car.

the time for 0-60
i did it on windows movie maker. i cut the part that the car launch and until the time it reash 60 it was 5.64 seconds.
I guess it should be the result. except the movie maker has timing problem on the software.
I do not really care about the time. i do not driv the car and time it everyday. it just happended to record it last night.
Hamann S (i think the name is this) he did a video very close than mine before i got Nanster. it was really cool. he did it in HK. I always want to do one. now here it come. I might do couple of more daytime run this weekend. If i dont get caught.

Countrym as you can see from the NAV it was not a straight line, i did it on a slightly right turn road. It might give better result if i did it straight. who cares, thanks for reminding me look at my NAV, it look funny to see how fast the car go through the turn.

Agree. Not the easiet video to time, but not near 5.6 sec.

You could make that time downhill with a tailwind

OK TwOMINIs
maybe i dod not do 5.6, but at least thats what shows up on the timer on the cam.
there are other factors you did not consider other than the downhill with a tailwind.
I have lighter wheels and lighter body with me(130bl weight! yeah i lost some weight)
anyway, time is not the matter. I love the sound when i shift. it sound different in person but in the video it sound really good.

I'm still trying to find out what was that sound in the end.
it might be a cam problem. i took another video which it makes bep sounds in the cam but i got nothing in the car. radio disturbance? or ET is watching?

No flamage intended  The only way my car would pull a 5.6, 0-60 is downhill, with a tailwind  I too am a MINI Geek and get almost as much pleasure out of watching other MINIs vids as watching my own. ( I can hear my son saying, " are you watching your MINI video again????" ) My MINI video

Keeps the vids coming.

p.s. I still think that 'thump' at the end is roadkill.

randy dont worry about the time, you might be right.
I'm not a pro on this time thing. it's my first time to see how fast the car can go.

your spin was cool!
did u get a sway bar?
it look like it.
I almost got one, but i heard it is kind of scary if you dont be carful with it on the free way driving.

Yea, got a sway bar and at one of my 1st Auto-Xs I started to slide going into the corner, took my foot off the gas, (as you can see and hear on the Vid), and the rest is history. It was the wrong thing to do......See this post. With a little practice it's easily handled, and a lot of fun too

Trailing throttle oversteer!

As soon as I heard the throttle lift, I knew what was about to happen...
