Ok i'm in méxico, each piece in carbon fiber, it's going to be around 120 American dollars, how about that?

I'm about to start doing the first one, when it's done I'll post some pictures so every body can se and decide if you like it or not

 

This is amazing. finally someone steps up, and at a good price.

 

If you can crank some out in plain old fibre glass that would be just fine with me! I'm not really a CF guy, it would get painted anyway. Maybe a little price break too eh

Of course the price is not definitive, but it will bee pretty close to that between cf and fiberglass maybe a difference of 10-20dlls... In the meantime I'll try to get it done this week, and I will post pics of the process

Ok, so I'm back at it again

Hopefully tomorrow or maybe by Sunday I'll have the positive piece made, to then make de negative mould and next week the first piece should be done...I'll make mine first on CF so you can decide what fiber will you want yours to be made of.

I think its neat someone else is stepping up to make these. What ever happened to JSArt? They used to sell his extension on autoxcooper.com but I see they no longer have it listed on his page.

Personally I've been looking for a used Palo Uber extension with no luck for years. I really like the seamless look it had flush against the back of the spoiler and without a center channel.

MCSJCW06MX I hope this works out. I'd be on board if your in the ball park of your price estimate.

 

Ok so I've been working on this thing, and hand making is not as easy as it looks so... On Wednesday I'm taking my mini to 3D scan the original spoiler (wing, don't know the right name) And making it digital so then machine it on the CNC to than make the negative mould in order to get the pieces you all want (me too hehe)

All this is to make precise pieces that fit perfectly every time and once it's digital I will be able to machine it with and without the channel!

So soon the options are going to be:

W/channel CF
W/o channel CF

W/ channel FG
W/o channel FG

(really should've gone digital from the beginning)

Hope you'll understand why it's taking so long, but don't worry...as soon I have the mould I'm gonna make these babies so fast that they'll get to your home still warm

There was a problem with the scanner, hopefully i'll get it scanned by friday i'll keep you posted

 

I'm terrible sorry the scanner from two of the universities in my city broke down, so I will have to pay for the service somewhere else :(

Anyway, next week I'll be very busy so I will get back to finish this thing until de 10th, hopefully scanning the car by 12th or something and before March is over have the two different designs available...

A group buy Won't be necessary since I'll have the 3D model, the positive piece, the mould and I'm not planning to get rid of them, so anyone can ask me for the extension tip anytime :D

If you think there are other parts I should make this would be a good time since I'm scanning the spoiler next week and I could scan other parts at the same time. For the moment I'm not really skilled so I won't be able to make parts that bolt or fit with clips, but anything that goes glued or fits on with double side tape (3m) I can do. Or at least try!!!

Will the extension stay on at higher speeds just being adhered?

 

a big aggressive hood scoop would be nice.

ive always wanted to see somebody make one bigger than m7's and hopefully around 1/2 the price.
