Harmonic Balancer and Belt Tensioner
So I had an tensioner pulley bearing making noise on the R50 so I decided to change it and the harmonic balancer since it was original from 2003.
After an adventure of a broken bolt and broken belt tool I’m done. However the new Harmon balance looks just like the old one and the balancer vibrates at idle. I’m going to try to upload a video.
is this normal? I could upload the balance but the inside the rubber strip is not uniform and looks like it’s out of balance. Outside the rubber looks good.

My initial impression is that the crank pulley is out of round. Also, I'm not a fan of lightweight pulleys because they can stress other components as is evidenced by your existing pulley movement/vibration. Fluid-filled pulleys are best. If the ATI cost is prohibitive, a PRW has the same properties. The only difference, besides cost, is the ATI is rebuildable and the PRW is not.
