So I was attempting to make a left turn Suday night when this lady decides to go through me instead of around me. Needless to say she crashed into me and now my rear bumper is all jacked up. Thankfully the police showed up in like two seconds. They gave the lady a ticket for being an idiot and sent me on my way. Now I get to deal with the repair shop which is a real treat. They have to order a new bumper and they said the last time they did work on a Mini it took like 6 weeks to get the part. How jive is that? Anyway, my Mini looks like hell and I may have to wait forever to get a new bumper. Meanwhile I have no idea if there's more damage underneath the bumper which could be making some things worse. What are the odds of something else being damaged? Am I risking serious damage to my Mini if I keep driving it? Is it really going to take 6 weeks to get a bumper!!! Oh well, if anyone has any advice that would be great. Mainly I'm posting this just so I can rant a little.

Sadness.

Verb-- Too bad about your accident! Why must other drivers
pick on MINI's? Can't they pick on someone their own size?
Hope you can get it fixed faster than six weeks--
seeing your car like that must be rough.

Godspeed.

 Find yourself a GOOD body shop and don't accept the car back unless it's perfect...

Chow!

Sadly I don't have any pics cause I don't own a digital camera. Yes I still live in the stone age. And I'm not sure how fast she was going. She was actually right behind me at the light and when the light turned green she just gunned it. So I'm assuming she wasn't going too fast. Just fast enough to ruin my day.
