Check out this contest going on here in Boston. It's sponsered by a local radio station. 4 people, 1 Mini, last one remaining owns it. They're down to 3 now.
Yech. Who would want the car after those kids had lived in it for all that time??? Think of the scuffs on the seat backs and all that lint on the carpet
I remember a radio station in San Diego did a very similiar thing with a new beetle when they first came out...I understand it got pretty rank in there....still, isn't that MINI abuse? Maybe PETM should jump in and say something (People for the Ethical Treatment of MINI's)...
Egads... can't a radio station think of something new for once? (not trying to defend one of the local stations here, they are all awfull), they ran the BO GEO contest for a while, then they went to a Neon, and last year at the county fair they did a fake survivor type deal.. what ever hapened to good, creative radio... like dropping live turkeys out of a helicoptor for thanksgiving?
My work is doing a Mini promo with the theatre across the street. Rumor has it that they will be suspending a Mini from a crane outside my office for an undetermined period of time. More details as they come up....and trust me, pictures will be posted, too.....
Oddly enough, if you go to that contest the banner indeed does say "Win 2 Mini Coopers" but if you look at the rules there are a number of different things you can choose if you win-- a wide variety of cars, Seadoo's, home remodeling-- but NO MINI! I call that a classic bait and switch!
