Some time back I saw a thread where there was a graph or breakdown of the number of MINIs produced by the different colors – meaning how many cars have been produced (or sold) by color breakdown. I’ve done an extensive search, but come up empty. Does anyone remember this thread or can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find the information I seek?

I'm pretty sure the post was at MINI2 and someone just used the search function to search people's info pages to see what the color distibution at MINI2 was. I don't think anyone had an official breakdown of all MINI's though.

I posted these two threads on mini2.com a while ago. Realize that it only
represents the demographics of people who registered their cars on mini2.com
and is not a formal breakdown of production numbers.

Color Preferences Tabulated for Mini Coopers on mini2

Color Preferences Tabulated for MCS on Mini2

Well... My high school stats book was out (prep for GMAT), and this could
technically be considered a statistically significant sample of MINI2. We have a
geographic sample, more than 30 registered, a variety of ages, etc... However, their could be many things refuted statistically I'm sure... Since, however, dats is missing (some colors and such), it's credibility is undermined. Sorry, this GMAT marathon for tomorrow is making me think bizzarely

cheers,

-Matt

Thanks, Minihune, I didn't have the time nor the energy to tabulate the
percentages from the original numbers yesterday.
